Continuing jobless claims in U.S. rise as initial claims drop

The number of people in the U.S. continuing to receive unemployment benefits increased 22,000 last week compared with the previous week, while first-time claims decreased 3,000, the Labor Department said. Nationwide, unemployment rolls totaled 9.04 million people. Full story here
