Portugal agrees to $116 billion rescue from IMF and EU

                                                               

The Portuguese government reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the EU for a $116 billion bailout. Caretaker Prime Minister Jose Socrates said he is awaiting a response from the nation's opposition parties. He said Portugal "got a good deal." Full story here
