Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, Westpac, HSBC and Citi all confirmed that some customer transactions had been affected by the errors in the NAB’s data processing that occurred Wednesday morning and that is still not resolved.
"I still cannot comprehend how one of the big four banks in Australia can allow such a catastrophic meltdown to occur," said Daniel Almond, a student in Sydney, who has been unable to access his part-time pay to cover bills. "I can't explain how frustrated I am."
