Brazil's economy expanded 0.5% in the third quarter, slightly ahead of the 0.4% growth that economists expected. The latest quarterly growth figure was down from 1.8% in the second quarter and 2.3% in the first quarter. Central bank President Henrique Meirelles said Brazil is "guaranteed" at least 7.5% growth for the full year. Full Story here
