China is beating inflation, Wen says after rates are increased

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said the country will be able to hold inflation within government targets. He made the comment after the central bank enacted a rate increase of 25 basis points on one-year loans and deposits. The increase was the second in 2010, after a similar increase Oct. 20.
