Diplomats say U.K., France and Germany back EU budget freeze

            

Germany and France joined in supporting British Prime Minister David Cameron's proposal to freeze EU spending after 2013, allowing only adjustments for inflation, Reuters reported, quoting EU diplomats. A letter describing the proposal is being circulated at an EU summit in Brussels but hasn't been made public yet, the diplomats said. Full story here
