Direxion introduces ETFs investing in gold-mining companies

Direxion Funds launched two exchange-traded funds offering investors long and short exposure to companies engaged in gold exploration and mining. The ETFs track the NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index. The Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bull 2x Shares is designed to give investors 200% of the index's performance. The Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bear 2x Shares delivers 200% of the inverse of the index. Both have a 0.95% expense ratio and trade on NYSE Arca.
