U.S. Senate postpones a vote on an extension of tax cuts

Any vote on an extension of Bush-era tax cuts will be held Saturday, after a plan to take up the issue Friday fell apart, said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev. A Republican objected to four votes proposed for Friday, forcing the delay, he said.
