Image via WikipediaTrading has begun on NYSE Arca for an exchange-traded fund sponsored by ETF Securities that buys silver, platinum and palladium, commonly known as the white metals. The ETFS Physical White Metals Basket ETF has a 0.6% expense ratio. Each ETF share will be backed by one ounce of silver, 0.01 ounce of platinum and .008 ounce of palladium, all held in vaults in London or Zurich with bar numbers published daily.
