Finance ministers support Draghi as next ECB president

Finance ministers from the eurozone endorsed Mario Draghi to succeed Jean-Claude Trichet as president of the European Central Bank. Draghi "is a central banker who has proven throughout his career that he holds the principles of the euro dear," said Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the Eurogroup of finance ministers. Draghi is "a man who brings together all the necessary qualities to be a worthy successor to Jean-Claude Trichet, who was an eminent president." Full story here
