Worries about eurozone debt send Asian-Pacific shares sliding

                           

Renewed concern about contagion from Europe's sovereign-debt crisis sent stock buyers to the sidelines Thursday across Asia-Pacific. Japan's Nikkei 225 was flat, while Taiwan's Taiex and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 edged up 0.3%. South Korea's Kospi Composite dropped 0.4%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index gave up 1.3% and China's Shanghai Composite lost 0.5%. New Zealand's NZX 50 inched down 0.1%, while Singapore's Straits Times Index fell 0.3% and India's Sensex added 0.5% in afternoon trading. Full story here
